Please check out our report, published in Phycology, on a simple method for determining agar gel strength. This systems uses common laboratory equipment (and some LegoTM bricks!). The system can be easily assembled and disassmebled, freeing the equipment to do some other lab stuff!
Warm welcome to Zach Lavie, our first PhD student! Zach has a M.Sc degree in marine geology and biochemistry. He is joining our team to work on the magnificent seaweed Caulerpa! Co-supervised by Prof. Uri Abdu from Ben Gurion University in the Negev. Good luck Zach!
